Tom Lloyd is Chief Commercial Officer responsible for the marketing and sales of Solea’s projects, working with operating companies and strategic investors interested in buying early stage projects. Tom also works with power purchasers to provide additional service to customers as required.

Prior to Solea, Tom served four years at Marathon Oil Company as the Global Director of Marketing and Midstream; responsible for managing the team delivering the sales of all of the corporation’s crude oil, natural gas and NGLs and all midstream contracts; to provide reliable physical offtake at the highest net value for the corporation. In addition, Tom served on the corporation’s global commodities hedging team.

Prior to Marathon, Tom worked for Hess Corporation for sixteen years and held positions of progressive responsibility in Crude Oil Marketing and Midstream Commercial functions with domestic and international and upstream and downstream experience. Tom has lived and worked in New York City, London, Madrid, Aberdeen and Houston. Earlier in his career, Tom held roles in equity research and mergers and acquisitions with ABN AMRO Bank and CSFB. Academic credentials include an MBA from Columbia University and a BA also from Columbia University.

Terio Escudero is Chief Operations Officer, responsible for Project Development, including all interconnection permits and agreements, land procurement and community relations.

Previously Terio served as General Manager of Abei Energy’s US Operations for 4 years. During this time, Terio originated and developed over 20 solar projects representing over 2.5 GW.

Terio’s experience in solar project development covers ERCOT, SPP, MISO, PJM and bilateral knowledge of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia (Duke Energy) and Arizona (APS) bilateral markets. With additional experience in the California Solar/Hydrogen Market.

Previously he held financial manager positions in different sectors such as, agrobusiness, real estate, finance, automobile, financial advisory and strategic consulting. Terio Escudero holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Deusto University and a Master in International Management (MIM) from Thunderbird Business School. He served and received formal training in Spanish Navy (Cruz al Merito Naval Medal).

Roberto Garcia is Chief Executive Officer, responsible for Business Strategy, Investor Relations and Strategic Partnerships. Roberto has a long track record as a manager and investor in the infrastructure, financial and real estate fields, in Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

Prior to becoming CEO of Solea Power, he had been CEO of Elsamex, S.A., Spain’s largest road maintenance company, with activities in road construction and road concessions in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and South Asia.

Roberto also served as CEO or Executive Vice President of CODACSA (the concessionaire of the Santo Domingo – La Romana highway in the Dominican Republic), Pavia Brasil Pavimentos e Vías, S.A. in Brazil, and in West Essex Group, a real estate and private equity group based in New Jersey. Roberto holds an MBA from Seton Hall University, a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and a PADE from IESE.
