Jose Sevilla brings to the Board of Directors of Solea Power over 25 years of experience in commercial banking and investment banking. He presently serves as chairman of Unicaja, Spain´s sixth largest financial institution.

Before joining Unicaja, he was CEO of Bankia, the fourth largest bank in Spain, from 2012 to 2021. Also, during this period, he was a member of the Board of Directors of BFA Tenedora de Acciones, SAU.

Prior to Bankia, he held various senior management positions in BBVA, the second largest bank in Spain, where he served as Chief Risk Officer, as a member of the Management Committee, and in the Board of Directors of BBVA Bancomer (Mexico). He began his professional career in the investment banking field, working in Merrill Lynch and FG Inversiones Bursatiles. Jose Sevilla holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from CUNEF, Madrid.
